Manchester City’s love for cryptocurrencies seems to be taking it to distant places. After seeing the success of its City Fan token, Man City has once again got into a crypto partnership deal – this time though, it’s with a relatively unknown crypto start-up, 3Key Technologies.

Over the last few months, cryptocurrencies have made a big impact on the sports world, with leading exchanges joining hands with clubs or athletes to interact with fans through instruments popularly known as fan tokens, a form of cryptocurrency that can be traded on an exchange.

What is 3Key Technologies into?

Well, as per the details mentioned on the website, 3Key Technologies is a decentralised finance (DeFi) focussed digital asset company that aims to give institutional and retail investors an easy access to DeFi platform. With the Man City partnership, 3Key aims to create brand awareness of the DeFi industry and intend to take the 3KEY brand to the next level.

Even though the complete detail of the partnership is still not made public, but 3Key is a crypto start-up that has been set up recently in 2020. 3Key aims to tackle the issues related to addressing ineffectiveness and aims to improve financial inclusion by increasing liquidity and reducing costs.

Sports and cryptos

Sports and cryptocurrencies marriage seems to be working well for various clubs and organisations. Besides Man City’s latest partnership, one of the leading crypto exchanges recently in power-packed deal with the Staples Centre, managed to make a big impact on the sporting arena.
