Electric Guitar PLC {LSE:ELEG} has announced the successful deployment of its NFC-enabled Voco technology by its subsidiary, 3radical, at the recent Grand Designs Live event held in Birmingham. This deployment marks a significant step in bridging the gap between physical and digital interactions, demonstrating the capabilities of the Voco platform in enhancing customer engagement.

The Near Field Communication (NFC) technology facilitated a seamless experience for attendees at the DIY Home Decor stand, allowing them to tap their smartphones to access a variety of interactive features. Visitors could download digital brochures, book appointments, connect on social media, and receive exclusive discount offers, all through simple smartphone interactions. This innovative use of technology aims to create a more engaging and personalised experience for consumers.

By integrating NFC technology, 3radical's Voco platform provides brands with opportunities to collect valuable intent data, which is crucial for refining marketing strategies. This initiative is in line with Electric Guitar's broader objective to maximise the value of first-party data, enabling businesses to deliver more tailored and measurable customer experiences.

John Regan, CEO of Electric Guitar PLC, expressed enthusiasm for the innovation brought forth by 3radical in merging real-world experiences with digital engagement. He highlighted the significance of the successful NFC technology deployment at Grand Designs Live as a demonstration of the effectiveness of their strategy. Regan emphasised the growing importance of blending online and offline data collection methods to provide businesses with real-time, actionable insights that enhance customer engagement.

As the lines between physical and digital experiences continue to blur, Electric Guitar PLC remains committed to equipping brands with the tools needed to create immersive experiences that resonate with today’s consumers.
