Alba Mineral Resources Plc (LON: ALBA) has been granted the exclusive exploration rights to the Gwynfynydd Gold Mine in north Wales.

  • As per the terms of the award, it’s a six-year mineral exploration licence for the company.
  • The gold mine is situated close to the town of Ganllwyd in the county of Gwynedd and shares many of the same geological and mineralogical characteristics of Clogau.
  • Based on that Alba Mineral can start the same modern exploration and development methods as having been fruitfully used at Clogau-St David's.
