The European Investment Trust Plc’s Shareholders’ funds decline by 9.8% in FY19

  • The European Investment Trust Plc (LON: EUT), which soon will be renamed as Baillie Gifford European Growth Trust Plc has released the annual financial report for the year ended 30 September 2019.
  • The company’s shareholders’ funds declined by 9.8 per cent to 373.9 million as compared to £414.3 million for the year ended 30 September 2018.
  • Net asset value (NAV) per ordinary share declined by 7.5 per cent to 929.0p as compared to 1004.3p in the last year.
  • Revenue return per ordinary share for the year stood at 31.0p, as compared to 27.4p for year to 30 September 2018.
