  • JUST EAT Plc (JE.) has rejected the unsolicited offer by Prosus N.V. for company’s issued and to be issued share capital at 710 pence per Just Eat share.
  • The board of the company after considering the offer of Prosus N.V. concluded that it considerably undervalues the company and its attractive resources and prospects both on a standalone basis and as part of the planned recommended all-share grouping with Takeaway.com
  • The Board of the company unanimously rejected Prosus’ initial proposal of 670 pence and successive proposals of 700 pence and 710 pence per Just Eat share.
  • On 22nd October 2019, at the time of writing, GMT 11:53 AM, shares were trading at GBX 745.40, up by 156.00 points or 26.47 per cent against the previous day closing price.
