Johnson's Brexit Bill Sails Through Parliament But Timetable Get Thwarted

  • For the first time, a Brexit deal moved through the House of Commons with 329 MPs voting in favour of the bill and 299 against it, but minutes after the MPs voted against the timetable, which invoked PM Johnson to hit the “Pause” button on his withdrawal legislation. Majority of the parliamentarians at House of Commons rebuffed his plan to get it through the British Parliament in three days. However, PM Johnson reiterated, “Our policy remains the same that we should exit the EU bloc on October 31, 2019".
