As a part of a strategically timed revamp, the Company Fujifilm Business Innovation Australia Pty Limited has announced that it shall change its name to Fujifilm Business Innovation Corporation, respectively. This comes after Fujifilm Xerox decided to disassociate itself from Xerox Corporation, by concluding their technology agreement respectively, on the date of their license expiration, March 31, 2021.

The Corporate Vice President for Fujifilm for NZ and Australia, Mr. Ken Sugiyama was of the view that this is one of the biggest and most significant changes that the Company has witnessed since its inception. He further added that with over 80 years of the Company’s global innovation experience, they are now happy to share their brand and strategies with a wider gyre of companies.
It was further added that the Company will continue its core services of document technology and printing, together with the new operations that have recently been introduced to its portfolio, such as IT services, enterprise software solutions and managed print room services etc.
It was further announced that no immediate changes are in order for the partner situation of the Company. Peter Thomas, the managing Director for the Company revealed that more work is of great value to the customers in order to find alternatives to printing, which would mean accepting wholeheartedly, the digital world and finding innovative techniques to conduct their businesses.
This is inclusive of software and consulting which will in the long run help businesses eradicate the need for printing altogether. One of its 300 subsidiaries, the New Zealand line of business is further involved in fields such as imaging, biotechnology, photography, and healthcare respectively. The Company hopes to brainstorm its way through different new innovative technologies in its New Zealand business.
The wide ranged and exciting new leg of the innovation of the brand is something everyone is looking forward to. The changes made in the brand will be helpful in enabling stronger bonds with other companies of Fujifilm and shall go a long way in finding feasible solutions for its customers in the long run.
The financial outlook is believed to be very positive, as revealed further. Even though COVID-19 presented its set of challenges for the Company, the future looks bright in terms of financial stability.
