The World of Taimanin

In the near future, the world is one in which Humanity and the Devildom, haunted by all manner of demonic beings, exist side by side. An unspoken rule of "mutual non-aggression" had been followed since the ancient times, but this began to show signs of collapsing when people strayed from the path of righteousness. Humans and demons colluded to form criminal organizations and corporations that acted in the shadows. Thus, the world descended into chaos, and the rule of non-aggression was broken. The world is now overrun by the residents of the Devildom, including Vampires, Werewolves, Man-Eating Ogres, and other evil spirits, some of whom even disguise themselves as humans and run large corporations. Of course, Japan is no exception. Our story begins at Gosha Academy, which is the frontline anti-demon defense force in the remarkable demonic invasion of Japan.

Setting the Stage

Taimanin -- humans who could stand against the demonic forces, opposing the deviants' evil. These anti-demon ninja gather at Gosha Academy. There, the protagonist Fuma Kotaro, who was born into the noble Fuma Head Family but cannot use Ninja Arts, was enjoying his carefree school life. However, one day the academy is raided, and his destiny is violently set in motion. Kotaro is then appointed as the captain of an independent commando unit by Headmistress Igawa Asagi, and, together with his new companions, he sets out to pursue the truth of the incident.

Main Characters

Fuma Kotaro

A Taimanin and the protagonist of the game.

He is a first-year student at Gosha Academy and the current head of the Fuma Clan, who leads the Eight Generals of the Fuma. "Kotaro" is not his birth name, but rather a name given to generations of Fuma clan heads. He comes from a line of many Evil Eye users, however, he himself has been unable to open his right eye since birth, and to this day, he has not awakened to the power of the Evil Eye. For that reason, he is also disparaged as the "Diot Clan Head," ("idiot" with only one "i") by members of the clan.

Aishu Hebiko

A classmate of Kotaro's and a member of a family of low-ranking ninja who have served the Fuma family for generations. She is considered a star Beastified Taimanin, even among Beast Jutsu users, and harbors the power of a beast within her. Her transformation type is called "Devilfish," so, in other words, she can turn into an octopus. The ink Hebiko shoots out in her beast form is famous around Gosha and feared because of the fishy odor sticks around for three full days if it gets on your body.

Uehara Shikanosuke

A Taimanin and student at Gosha Academy. He is an Electric Jutsu user and the younger cousin of Uehara Rin, who is famed as the Dazzling Taimanin. Although the Uehara Clan does not reach the level of the Igawa or Kokawa clans, they are still a prestigious family with a long history as high-ranking ninja. Shikanosuke uses shuriken as his weapon, but he is small in stature and occupies the very lowest ranks of combat abilities among Taimanin. However, when push comes to shove, he is willing to lay down his life for his strong sense of justice... while, running away and crying.

Igawa Asagi

A kunoichi of justice who leads the Taimanin as their Chief Commander, also known as the Almighty Taimanin. She is the headmistress of Gosha Academy, a training school for Taimanin established by the government.
