Highlights
- Metaverse and NFTs often come in a combination, with digital assets like land having linked NFTs
- Most NFTs of projects like CryptoPunk are based on cartoons, and the Everdome project seeks to change this
- The DOME crypto’s price in the long term might be a product of the success or failure of the Everdome metaverse
Virtual reality seems to be piquing the interest of everyone, from amateurs to tech giants. Facebook had its name changed last year, with Mark Zuckerberg making the big metaverse announcement, and 2022 began with the news of Microsoft purchasing a gaming company, which many view as its foray into the metaverse space.
Separately, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which are digital assets, are also in trend. NFTs of CryptoPunk are famous and costly, and those of Bored Ape and the Axie Infinity game are also gaining traction.
But all these NFT characters are often cartoonish and lack real-life characteristics in their appearance. At least one project claims to be working to change this and ride the metaverse and NFT wave.
What is the Everdome NFT project?
The Everdome project bills itself as a metaverse participant. It allows users to purchase virtual land, which is pretty similar to the concept of the popular metaverse projects of Decentraland and The Sandbox.
But Everdome claims that its metaverse would enable a realistic world, although virtual. The project states on its website that its Web 3.0 focused ecosystem would be a “real-to-life version” metaverse.
Everdome is inviting brands to use its services and interact with their customers in a new way. The project would also enable monetization of virtual assets by ways like renting out the purchased land.

Everdome token price prediction
The DOME crypto is a new entry in the vast cryptocurrency world that has tens of thousands of tokens, with dozens that are linked to metaverse projects. Top metaverse tokens are MANA and SAND, with billion-dollar market capitalizations each.
Everdome token’s price could probably rely on how its “real-to-life version” metaverse demonstrates utility in the already crowded space. Realistic NFTs may entice some, and if that happens, DOME might reach US$1 by the end of 2022. If big brands warm up to the Everdome metaverse, the price may hover toward a double-digit trajectory by 2025.

Bottom line
Metaverses are being used by brands like Samsung, Nike and even banks like JPMorgan. As of now, the metaverses of Decentraland and The Sandbox are the top preferences, but Everdome’s promise to make the virtual reality world as realistic as possible may make it a formidable competitor. The DOME crypto is the project’s native token, and Everdome’s adoption might have a major impact on DOME’s price.
