Highlights

  • Winter drilling expanded geological understanding across multiple target areas.
  • Hornet Zone returned notable copper, zinc, silver, and gold mineralized intervals.
  • Garnet Lake and Copperlode areas remain central exploration focus.

The TSX Venture Composite Index includes numerous early-stage mineral exploration companies operating acrossCanada's mining sector. Total Metals (TSX:TT) operates within the critical minerals and gold exploration sector, advancing projects in Ontario and Manitoba through drilling, geological interpretation, and resource evaluation. Recent exploration activities at the Electrolode Project have focused on expanding knowledge of existing mineralized zones while testing additional regional targets.

Winter drilling program expands project knowledge

The recently completed winter exploration campaign consisted of 25 drill holes totaling 8,408 metres at the Electrolode critical metals property in northwestern Ontario. The program exceeded its original scope after a second drill rig was added, allowing broader testing across the property.

The campaign evaluated the Arrow Zone, Copperlode area, Hornet Zone, Garnet Lake corridor, and several regional geophysical targets. Geological mapping, historical exploration data, airborne magnetic surveys, and electromagnetic modelling supported drill targeting throughout the program.

Electrolode covers approximately 3,300 hectares and hosts the Arrow Zone, which contains a National Instrument 43-101 compliant inferred mineral resource. Historic exploration has also identified multiple additional mineralized zones distributed across the property.

Copperlode drilling confirms mineralized continuity

Results from the remaining fifteen drill holes highlighted continued mineralization within the Copperlode area, particularly at the Hornet Zone.

One of the strongest reported intersections came from hole EL-26-013, which returned 7.67 metres grading 2.90% zinc, 1.15% copper, 13.30 grams per tonne silver, and 0.06 grams per tonne gold. Within that interval, a higher-grade section returned 1.74 metres grading 3.62% zinc, 3.19% copper, 37.29 grams per tonne silver, and 0.23 grams per tonne gold.

Additional drilling intersected narrower intervals of zinc and copper mineralization across the D, E, and Hornet zones, supporting the interpretation that mineralized horizons continue at depth within the interpreted folded volcanic sequence.

Geological observations also documented alteration zones, fault structures, silicification, and associated volcanic massive sulphide characteristics that contribute to updated geological models.

Arrow Zone continues to support project resource base

Earlier results released from the first ten drill holes during the same winter campaign demonstrated continued mineralization within the Arrow Zone.

Reported intercepts included multiple zinc-rich intervals containing associated copper, silver, and gold mineralization. Several holes also intersected mineralization within hanging wall zones located adjacent to the principal Arrow mineralized horizon.

These results contribute additional geological information around the existing inferred mineral resource while improving understanding of structural controls affecting mineral distribution throughout the deposit.

As exploration companies within the TSX Venture Composite Index continue advancing critical minerals projects across Canada, systematic drilling programs remain an important component of resource definition and geological interpretation.

Regional exploration identifies additional targets

Beyond the established mineralized zones, drilling evaluated several geophysical conductors southwest of Arrow and within the Far East and Garnet Lake areas.

Multiple drill holes intersected anomalous zinc and copper mineralization associated with electromagnetic conductors interpreted from historical airborne surveys. Although several holes returned modest mineralized intervals, the drilling confirmed the presence of mineralized systems extending beyond previously defined zones.

The Garnet Lake area emerged as a significant area of interest following integration of newly developed Maxwell plate models with historical exploration information. Only one conductor beneath Garnet Lake was tested during the winter campaign because of seasonal access limitations.

That drill hole returned anomalous zinc and copper values, contributing additional geological information supporting continued evaluation of the corridor between Arrow and surrounding exploration targets.

Geological modelling supports continued evaluation

Modern three-dimensional magnetic inversion modelling formed an important component of the exploration program. High-resolution airborne magnetic data, historical electromagnetic surveys, structural interpretation, and historical drilling information were combined to refine exploration targets.

Interpretation indicates that folded volcanic stratigraphy, intersected by northwest-trending fault systems, controls much of the mineralization identified across the Copperlode and Arrow areas.

Drilling also confirmed several electromagnetic conductors while identifying locations where conductive responses extend beyond previously interpreted mineralized zones. Geological compilation continues to incorporate historical drill logs, geochemistry, geophysical surveys, and structural observations into updated property-wide models.

Total Metals (TSX:TT) also plans additional evaluation of deeper geophysical techniques capable of imaging mineralized systems beyond the effective depth limits of previous airborne surveys.

Broader project portfolio

In addition to Electrolode, the company maintains several exploration assets across Eastern Canada.

The High Lake and West Hawk Lake gold properties span approximately 958 hectares near the Manitoba-Ontario border. The company also holds an option on the Menary gold property in northwestern Ontario and owns the Pick Lake critical minerals property, comprising 75 claims and a mining lease covering more than 5,260 hectares.

These properties complement the Electrolode Project by expanding exploration activity across both precious metals and critical minerals. Total Metalscontinues geological evaluation through drilling, geophysical interpretation, sampling, and resource-focused exploration across its Canadian property portfolio.
