Highlights
Maiden RC drilling program underway at Sherlock Crossing, targeting high-grade gold-antimony mineralisation at the Clarke Mine.
Mapping and sampling at Wyloo confirmed strong Sb-Ag-Au anomalism, with peak rock chip results including 482 g/t Ag and 15.95% Zn.
Exploration continues in NSW, with programs at Tibooburra and preparatory work for RC drilling at John Bull in Q4 2025.
Novo Resources Corp. (ASX:NVO) (TSX:NVO) has provided an update on exploration activities for the second half of 2025 across its projects in Western Australia and New South Wales. The Company’s current work programs focus on advancing high-grade gold, gold-antimony, and polymetallic opportunities.
Sherlock Crossing RC Drilling
At Sherlock Crossing in the West Pilbara, Novo has commenced its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drill program at the historic Clarke Mine. The campaign will consist of eight holes across four sections for approximately 1,000 metres of RC drilling along a 300-metre strike length. The objective is to test down-dip continuity of high-grade surface veins, extend mineralisation to the north and south, and evaluate potential plunge controls of the mineralising system.
Drilling is expected to conclude in September 2025, with assay results anticipated in mid-October 2025.
Wyloo Project Progress
At the Wyloo Project in the South Pilbara, field mapping and rock chip sampling have confirmed coherent stibnite-silver-gold anomalism. Peak assay results from polymetallic vein-style mineralisation include 482 g/t silver, 1.29% antimony, 0.93 g/t gold, 2.6% copper, 9.7% lead, and 15.95% zinc. This work advances Wyloo towards drill readiness, with targets being defined for a potential RC program.
Egina Farm-in/JV with Northern Star
Novo’s partner Northern Star Resources Limited (ASX:NST) has commenced an aircore drilling program at the Farno joint venture area within the broader Egina Farm-in/JV arrangement. This program forms part of systematic exploration efforts to assess mineralisation potential across the district.
Exploration in New South Wales
In New South Wales, Novo continues to progress exploration at the Tibooburra Gold Project. Current activity includes downhole televiewer logging at Clone, relogging of historic core at New Bendigo, and detailed mapping at multiple prospects. These programs aim to refine drill targets and advance the project pipeline.
Novo is also preparing for its maiden RC drilling program at the John Bull Gold Project. Regulatory compliance processes and landholder agreements are underway, with drilling expected to begin in Q4 2025.
Novo remains focused on advancing its exploration portfolio with near-term catalysts across both Western Australia and New South Wales. Upcoming results from Sherlock Crossing, along with progress at Wyloo, Egina, Tibooburra, and John Bull, are expected to provide further insights.
