Kane Biotech Inc. (TSX-V:KNE) is advancing its strategy to expand the reach of its advanced wound care technologies across the United States. As the company prepares for nationwide growth of its portfolio—including the revyve® Antimicrobial Wound Gel—it has taken two key steps aimed at strengthening distribution access and expanding commercial coverage. These initiatives are designed to support broader availability of its wound care solutions within federal healthcare systems and among clinicians across the country.
Distribution Partnership with Marathon Medical
Kane Biotech has entered into a distribution agreement with Marathon Medical Corporation, a federally verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and national medical supply distributor. Through this partnership, Kane will gain access to established purchasing channels serving the U.S. Veterans Affairs (VA) market, the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), and U.S. Indian Health Services (IHS).
Marathon Medical provides medical, surgical, and wound care products through a portfolio of federal procurement contracts and plays an established role within the government healthcare supply chain. By working with Marathon, Kane will be able to utilize existing government-authorized procurement pathways, which can streamline product onboarding, logistics, and purchasing processes for the revyve wound care line.
The collaboration also provides access to Marathon’s nationwide distribution capabilities and experience serving federal healthcare agencies, supporting Kane’s efforts to expand its presence within the U.S. healthcare system.
Building a National Sales Network
Alongside the distribution agreement, Kane has begun building a contract-based sales team across the United States. Independent sales representatives have already been engaged in several regions, and the company plans to continue expanding the network throughout 2026.
This growing commercial team is expected to increase engagement with clinicians and expand awareness of the revyve product line. By developing a geographically diverse sales network, Kane is working to strengthen its commercial footprint across key healthcare markets.
Focus on Scalable Distribution Infrastructure
These initiatives represent an important step in establishing a scalable, multi-channel distribution infrastructure in the United States. Expanding both federal supply chain access and direct sales coverage supports broader commercialization of the revyve wound care portfolio.
