After the recent rally of meme stocks like GameStop and AMC Entertainment, meme cryptocurrencies also seem to be picking up pace.

Kishu Inu ($KISHU), one of the latest dog-themed meme cryptocurrencies, is probably the fastest to reach a US$ 2 billion market cap in a month. It has over 150,000 holders, according to the company's whitepaper.

On May 26, LATOKEN, a leading platform for cryptocurrency exchange and multi-asset tokenization, listed Kishu on its exchange to provide an opportunity to its users to be among the early adopters of the coin.

Kishu has been drawing attention ever since its launch in April 2021 as the company aims to assist new entrants into the crypto space.

Unlike many new cryptocurrencies, Kishu is a project that is owned fully by the community and has no tokens allocated to its development team. Notably, the company has developed a redistribution mechanism that sends two per cent of every transaction to the existing holders to reward the community of Kishu.

Should You Invest in Kishu Inc?


According to the company website, Kishu claims to have been audited and that its liquidity pool tokens have been burnt. In simple words, this points toward lessened risks.

The cryptocurrency company is also coming up with 'Kishu Swap', which will be a decentralized exchange. It will also start 'Kishu Paw Print', an app for token statistic tracking.

To explore the popular Non-Fungible Token (NFT) front, it will start the 'Kishu Crate' NFT marketplace, in which $KISHU holders will be able to farm limited-edition of NFTs.

According to Coinmarketcap, price of the meme cryptocurrency was US$ 0.0000000038 at the time of writing this (10AM EST) and had a 24-hour trading volume of US$ 3.31 million.

It surged by 6.6 per cent in the last 24 hours and ranked at 2563.
