But this year is different. Walmart Canada has big plans for Black Friday sales. Sales have been broken down and spread over different evens keeping in mind the pandemic protocols, each available first online on Walmart.ca and then at its 400-plus physical stores across the country. At brick-and-mortar stores, Walmart has also put in place contactless tap payment zones and free contactless pickup points for online purchases.
Walmart Canada claims that it has more than 1,000 deals for its customers across its physical and online stores.

Video Game event
For all gaming aficionados (and those looking for the perfect gift for such people), Walmart Canada will hold an online sale on Wednesday, November 25, 9 pm EST onwards at Walmart.ca.
The event will roll over at its in-store venues at 7 am EST the following day, on November 26.
Black Friday 2020 main event
Walmart Canada’s big Black Friday main event will kick start around 9pm EST on Thursday, November 26 on the website and will carry on at the physical stores 7am onwards on Friday, November 27.
The gala sales, however, don’t end there. The following Monday, November 30, also known as ‘Cyber Monday’, will see additional exclusive deals online.
Chief Merchandising Officer Kieran Shanahan said in an official release that keeping in mind the pandemic, Walmart Canada has stored up on ample electronics such as TVs, video games, cooking appliances, toys, etc. for its Black Friday sales.

BestBuy Canada
Like Walmart, BestBuy Canada had its Black Friday sales event spanning over the month of November. The company came up with a three-pronged method for its holiday sales: visit the physical store, shop online, or opt for in-person curb pick-up for your online purchases.
But what are the deals, you ask? Here’s a list:
BestBuy Canada is offering up to 50 per cent off on all small appliances, including Instant Pot, coffee makers, blenders, etc. There are also significant deals on smart home devices such as Amazon Echo Show 5.
Gamers will find exclusive deals of up to 40 per cent on certain devices such as gaming keyboards, mouse pads, mice, etc.
A lot of holiday shopping circles around buying gifts for the little ones. BestBuy Canada offering discounts of up to 35 per cent on select toys, such as Sphero Mini Robotic Ball.
Without sports activities and gyms becoming a scary den amid the infection season, home exercising equipment have become the next best thing for health-conscious Canadians. At BestBuy’s Black Friday sales, customers can save on an array of fitness equipment, such as treadmills, ellipticals, massage guns, etc. The store chain is also giving up to $80 off on Fitbit, Samsung, and Garmin, etc.
If you’re going for a massive kitchen equipment haul, BestBuy Canada has up to $1,200 discounts on packages comprising stoves, fridges and dishwashers, all from big brands such as Insignia, Samsung, LG, KitchenAid, etc.

Thanks to the novel coronavirus, Amazon Inc is having the best business days of its life this year. Lockdown restrictions have pumped up online shopping, and Amazon, with all its brand recognition, is making the most of it.
Known for its killer deals on big sale days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Amazon is harbor for seasoned deal hunters. This year, it has a planned a week-long event called ‘Black Friday Deals Week’, starting November 20 and lasting till November 27.
