Bombardier To Cut 200 Jobs In Thunder Bay Factory

  • The top jet and rail manufacturer will end ventilators’ production and reduce output of commuter trains at its Thunder Bay plant in Ontario, leading to lay-offs.
  • About 125 workers will laid-off in the first phase starting early October and another 75 staffers will go from April next year.
  • The plant, which has 1,100 workers till 2019, will now operate with just 270 employees.
