  • Resource update expected in July
  • Pre-Feasibility Study progressing towards year-end

Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) has reported encouraging new gold intersections at its Boundiali Project in Côte d'Ivoire, as it advances toward a significant resource update scheduled for late July. The drilling outcomes have revealed ultra-high-grade zones, continuing to highlight the project's mineral potential across a vast and underexplored gold-bearing corridor.

The recently completed drilling phase is part of a broader 100,000-metre campaign designed to increase the current gold resource, which remains open in multiple directions. Aurum Resources is progressing rapidly across its portfolio, with Boundiali standing out due to the consistency of high-grade intercepts and growing geological understanding of the region.

With a broader strategy that includes resource development and advanced feasibility work, the company is positioning itself for a substantial step forward in 2025. The first of two planned resource updates for the year is nearing completion, and work on a detailed Pre-Feasibility Study is well underway, with finalization targeted by year-end.

These developments come at a time when investor attention on African gold exploration is steadily rising. Côte d'Ivoire, with its supportive regulatory environment and emerging gold discoveries, is becoming a more prominent destination for exploration companies.

Aurum’s exploration momentum is complemented by its focus on another key asset, the Napié Project, which together with Boundiali contributes to an expanding mineral inventory. The combined efforts from both projects underscore the company’s operational intensity and forward strategy.

Although Aurum Resources is not part of the ASX 200, its exploration success and project pipeline keep it on the radar for investors tracking the broader gold sector on the ASX.

Looking ahead, the market will be watching closely for the July update, as the company outlines its next steps toward advancing the Boundiali Project through to development stages. With a robust drill program behind it and more data on the horizon, Aurum continues to strengthen its position in West Africa’s gold exploration scene.
