  • Graphite One commences private placement to support graphite project development

  • Proceeds earmarked for permitting, milestone payments, and operational needs

  • Company targets vertical integration in graphite supply chain for battery materials

Operating within the resources sector, Graphite One (TSX-V:GPH) has announced a capital raise initiative aimed at advancing its flagship Graphite Creek Project located in Alaska. The company is not part of the All Ordinaries but remains a notable participant in the North American graphite development space with ambitions of integrated production for battery-grade materials.

The company’s announcement outlines a private placement facilitated by a syndicate of agents, led by a prominent investment firm, to issue equity units. Each unit includes a common share paired with a warrant component, with the warrant allowing the future purchase of additional shares within a defined timeframe.

Use of Proceeds Focused on Project Permitting and Environmental Work

The funds raised are intended to support multiple operational objectives. A portion will be directed towards environmental studies and permitting, which are essential for the regulatory progress of the Graphite Creek Project. These steps are critical as the company works to meet compliance and advance the project timeline.

Additional proceeds will be allocated to meet Chenyu milestone obligations. The remainder of the funding will assist in covering general working capital requirements, providing financial flexibility for ongoing operations.

Graphite Creek Project Aims for Vertical Integration

The Graphite Creek Project is positioned as a vertically integrated initiative. The company plans to mine and refine natural graphite while also manufacturing anode materials used in lithium-ion batteries. This includes both natural and synthetic forms, with intended applications across electric vehicle batteries and energy storage systems.

Graphite One's development strategy aligns with broader industry movements to localize battery material supply chains in North America. By combining resource extraction with downstream manufacturing, the company seeks to support energy storage technologies through a domestic graphite supply network.
