Highlights:
- Zephyr Energy initiates well program at Paradox project in Utah.
- Drilling expected to begin mid-January with Nabors Drilling USA B29 rig.
- Focus on extending lateral well to target additional reservoir depth.
Zephyr Energy , a comp (OTC:ZPHRF) any focused on oil and gas exploration, is set to begin its next well program at the Paradox project in Utah. This initiative is a key aspect of the company’s development efforts in the region, particularly targeting the Cane Creek reservoir.
The well will be drilled using the Nabors Drilling USA B29 rig, which is currently being mobilized to the State 36-2 LNW-CC-R well. Drilling is scheduled to begin in mid-January after the rigging-up phase is completed.
Preparatory Work and Drilling Process
Before drilling begins, preparatory work has been completed, including the removal of production tubing from the existing wellbore. This step was carried out using a cost-effective workover rig. The drilling phase will involve establishing an extended lateral well aimed at targeting an additional 5,500 feet of the Cane Creek reservoir.
The drilling operation is expected to take approximately 30 days from spudding, which marks the start of the drilling process. This well is considered an important step in the development of the Paradox project and is expected to contribute to the overall advancement of the field.
Zephyr Energy’s approach emphasizes efficient and strategic development as it continues its operations in the region. As drilling progresses, further updates are likely to follow to track the progress of the well and any developments related to the Paradox project.
