North Bay Resources Inc., a company in the mining sector, has announced the successful processing of its first shipment of gold ore from the Fran Gold Project. This marks a significant milestone for the project, located 20 miles from Centerra Gold’s Mt. Milligan Copper-Gold Mine, covering an expansive 34,360 acres. The Fran Gold Project is one of the company’s key mining initiatives, with a focus on extracting valuable metals such as gold.

The initial step in the processing involved primary crushing of the ore using a grizzly and jaw crusher, reducing the material to a ½-inch minus size. The ore is now set for further reduction in a ball mill, with on-site mechanics overseeing the stabilization of the mill to ensure smooth operations. Once the ore is reduced to minus 150 mesh, it will be processed into a slurry and transferred to a gravity separation table to recover free gold and other valuable metals.

Following this, the remaining ore will proceed through the flotation and concentrate circuit. North Bay Resources (OTC: NBRI) expects process engineers to optimize the flotation cells and reagent formulations for final metal recovery later this week, a critical step in maximizing the project’s output.

In parallel, at the company’s Taber Gold Mine, rehabilitation efforts continue in the Wild Boar Zone. Crews have advanced approximately 700 feet inside the mine and are approaching the mining faces. The ongoing development in this zone has required extensive timbering and spiling work to ensure safety and support for further exploration and extraction activities.

The progress at both the Fran Gold Project and Taber Gold Mine underscores North Bay Resources' active role in developing its assets, with a focus on optimizing operations and advancing gold recovery from these key projects.
