Li-Metal Corp. (CSE:LIM) (OTCQB: LIMFF) (FSE: 5ZO), a leader in lithium metal anode production technologies for next-generation batteries, has officially named Keshav Kochhar as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Kochhar brings a wealth of experience in the battery and automotive industries and has been instrumental in the company’s recent advancements.

Initially appointed as interim CEO on July 8, 2024, Kochhar successfully oversaw the sale of lithium metal production technology to Arcadium Lithium plc, a transaction completed on August 2, 2024, highlighting the potential of metal and mining stocks. His leadership was pivotal in this achievement. Before this role, Kochhar served as COO, where he played a crucial part in the commissioning of Li-Metal’s lithium metal pilot production facility in Markham, Ontario, and the lithium anodes pilot production facility in Rochester, New York.

Kochhar’s extensive background includes his tenure as CEO and co-founder of Lacero Solutions, a clean technology firm specializing in the safe destruction and recycling of airbags. He joined Li-Metal in 2021, bringing his expertise and vision to the company.

In his new role, Kochhar is set to build on the solid foundation established at Li-Metal, with a focus on innovation, achieving strategic goals, and creating long-term value for stakeholders. His leadership marks a new chapter for Li-Metal as the company continues its mission to advance next-generation battery technologies.
