Highlights
Nukkleus and Mandragola announced a joint venture to modernize commercial and defense aviation infrastructure in Europe and Israel.
The initiative includes advanced manufacturing zones, a NATO-compliant logistics hub in Riga, and MRO and aircraft modernization facilities.
The partnership will also fund early-stage Israeli technology companies developing aviation and defense innovations.
Nukkleus Inc. (NASDAQ:NUKK), an acquirer and developer of businesses in the aerospace and defense (A&D) sector, has entered into a strategic joint venture with Mandragola Ltd., an Israeli business development and investment company focused on advanced technologies. The collaboration is aimed at modernizing commercial and defense-oriented infrastructure across Europe and Israel.
Industry Context
The venture comes at a time when geopolitical tensions in Europe, particularly in the Baltic States, are driving new defense priorities as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues. Alongside these developments, the global aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) market, valued at USD 110 billion in 2024, is projected to expand to USD 124 billion by 2034, underscoring long-term growth potential in aviation services.
Scope of the Venture
Under the agreement, Nukkleus and Mandragola plan to establish advanced manufacturing zones in the Baltics and Israel to support both civil and defense aviation needs. The initiative also includes the creation of a NATO-compliant logistics hub in Riga in partnership with regional collaborators. Additional facilities are expected to provide licensed MRO services, as well as aircraft modernization, resale, and leasing capabilities.
Another focus of the joint venture will be early-stage technology investment in Israel. The companies intend to identify and finance emerging businesses developing innovations suitable for integration into aviation and defense operations. Oversight will be provided by a five-member Board of Directors and an Advisory Board comprising experienced aviation professionals, including two former Israeli Air Force pilots.
Strategic Importance for Nukkleus
This announcement builds on Nukkleus’ broader strategic pivot toward aerospace and defense. The company recently entered into a distribution agreement with BladeRanger (TASE: BLRN) and is pursuing the acquisition of Star 26 Capital Inc. These initiatives, combined with the Mandragola joint venture, establish a foundation for Nukkleus’ European aviation and defense operations.
Nukkleus’ business model targets Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers that are critical to national security infrastructure in the United States, Israel, and Europe. By integrating advanced manufacturing, disciplined financial management, and long-term strategic vision, the company aims to expand its portfolio of dual-use technologies and ensure resilient supply chains across the aerospace and defense ecosystem.
Mandragola brings expertise in technology commercialization and relationships in the Israeli aviation and technology sectors. Through its partnership with ArrivAir II, LLC, the firm maintains a presence in aviation, while also leveraging its capital markets experience to support growth in emerging industries.
