Net income during period soared to US$65.6 million, or US$5.26 per share, from US$18.2 million, or US$1.49 per share, in the year-ago period.
Constellation Brands
Constellation Brands is multinational company based in New York, which makes beer, wine and spirits.
The company’s portfolio of beer brands includes Corona Extra, Corona Light, Modelo Especial and others. Wine and spirits brands include Meiomi and Robert Mondavi.
Constellation Brands has a market capitalization of US$46.54 billion. Its shares rallied to its 52-week high of US$243.44 last week. The share price has increased around 10 percent this year.

In the fiscal year 2021 ended February 28, Constellation Brands’ net sales increased 3 percent year over year to US$8.62 billion.
