New Executive Director Appointment
Vladimir Crasneanscki, who joined ME Group in 2022, has been appointed as the company’s Executive Director. Crasneanscki's career at ME Group has seen him several leadership roles, including Head of Customer Development, Head of Commercial Operations, and Managing Director for the UK division. He also led the company's Investor Relations efforts. His extensive experience within the company ensures continuity, particularly in overseeing operations in the UK and the management of relationships with investors. Crasneanscki is also the son of the company's Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman.
Independent Non-Executive Director Appointment
The second significant appointment is Gregory Barker, also known as Lord Barker of Battle, who has joined the board as an Independent Non-executive Director. Lord Barker brings a wealth of expertise spanning equity analysis, political service, and leadership within various energy and technology organizations. His previous role as the Energy & Climate Change Minister in the UK government adds a strategic layer of insight to the company’s direction. In addition to his new position with ME Group, Lord Barker currently chairs the EV Network and advisory roles with GlassView and PowerHive.
