These FTSE listed companies, Hiscox Ltd (LON:HSX), JD Sports (LON:JD), IWG Plc (LON:IWG), ITV Plc (LON:ITV), and Boeing (LON:BOE) are set to make headlines today.

Hiscox Ltd (LON: HSX)

The insurance company would make a settlement with a group of 400 companies regarding disruption faced by businesses due to lockdowns during the Covid crisis. Both sides agreed to keep the settlement amount confidential.

JD Sports (LON: JD.)

JD Sports would be acquiring a majority stake in Deporvillage, the Spanish retailer. The deal has been finalised at about £120 million. According to JD, in 2020, the business reported revenues worth £101 million) and a pre-tax profit worth £6.6 million.

IWG Plc (LON:IWG)

World's largest serviced office company is reportedly in talks with its rival WeWork regarding a takeover bid that could take up the company’s valuation to over £4 billion. The New York-based private equity company CC Capital had reportedly held discussions with IWG for a prospective takeover bid last month.

The shares of the company closed at GBX 300.20 on 28 June.

ITV Plc (LON: ITV)

ITV Hub has been mired in technical issues as viewers tried streaming France versus Switzerland match of the Euro 2020 tournament. The glitches forced viewers to watch the same moment on repeat and got stuck at the third minute of the game for over half an hour.

The shares of the company closed at GBX 124.85 on 28 June.

Boeing (LON: BOE)

It is being anticipated that United Airlines might announce orders for over 200 new Boeing and Airbus planes. United Airlines has two public events scheduled for Tuesday. It is also hosting an investor programme on Tuesday on its website.
