Rapidly growing technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR) and others have seen significant interest recently, as more and more businesses and people have become open to adopting innovative technologies amid the pandemic.

The global and US AI market is estimated to touch US$ 175.63 Billion by 2028, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 41.23 per cent between 2021 and 2028, according to data from market research company Vantage Market Research.

Meanwhile, the global augmented reality (AR), VR, and mixed reality (MR) space is estimated to touch a market size of US$ 300 billion by 2024, according to data from Statista.

  1. Immotion Group PLC (LON:IMMO)

Immotion Group is an immersive virtual reality solutions company and is a part of the FTSE AIM All-Share index.

The group’s H1 2021 revenue stood at £2.8 million. And its H1 EBITDA was at a loss of £31 thousand, which signifies a near breakeven result in H1.

It’s Q3 2021, the company’s revenue stood at around £3 million, and its Q3 2021 estimated earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) is about £0.6 million.

The group’s Q3 2021 adjusted profit before tax (PBT) was again breakeven.

Immotion Group’s market cap stood at £22.44 million as of 31 December. 

The company’s one-year return was at 24.43 per cent, and its year-to-date return was at 24.70 per cent as of 31 December.

  1. Access Intelligence PLC (LON:ACC)

Access Intelligence is a tech innovator delivering SaaS solutions and is a part of the FTSE AIM All-Share index. The group combines AI technologies with human expertise to help in the analysis of data and create insights.

The company’s H1 2020 annual contract value (ACV) base rose by 25 per cent on an annualised basis to £24.7 million. Comparatively, Its ACV in H1 2020 stood at £19.1 million. 

Access Intelligence’s market cap stood at £186.93 million as of 31 December. 

The company’s one-year return was at 76.74 per cent, and its year-to-date return was at 76.70 per cent as of 31 December.

  1. Sure Ventures PLC (LON:SURE)

Main market-listed firm Sure Ventures is an investment fund that invests in fast-growing technology such as augmented reality (AR)/VR, internet of things (IoT), and AI.

The fund’s portfolio company Admix completed a series B funding round, raising US$25 million. Sure has exposure to the company through its 25.9 per cent stake in Sure Valley Ventures.

Sure Ventures’ market cap stood at £5.80 million as of 31 December. 

The company’s one-year as well as year-to-date return was at 7.10 per cent as of 31 December.

  1. GS Technologies Ltd (LON: GST)

Main market-listed firm GS Technologies is a fintech and information technology solutions provider.

The company raised about £1.0 million in gross proceeds through a placing of 50 million shares at a price of 2 pence per share.

GST’s total income for the year ended on 31 March fell by 25.1 per cent to US$3.41 million, compared to US$4.55 million in the previous year.

GS Technologies’ market cap stood at £35.34 million as of 31 December. 

The company’s one-year as well as year-to-date return was at 1,532.00 per cent as of 31 December.
