Petropavlovsk Plc’s EBITDA almost doubles in H1 2020

Petropavlovsk Plc (LON: POG) has released its first-half results for the period ended 30 June 2020.

  • Supported by higher gold prices and increased production, the company’s EBITDA almost doubled from the first half of 2019 to USD193 million.
  • Total gold produced by the company during the period increased by 42 per cent to 320.6 koz compared to 225.0 koz in H1 2019.
  • The company further stated that the total gold production comprised of 178.0 koz from the processing of company’s own and third-party refractory gold concentrates at the POX Hub.
  • On 30 October 2020, the stocks of the company declined by 4.92% from its previous closing, hovering at around GBX 26.10 at 10:37 AM GMT+1.
