Food delivery company Just Eat Takeaway.Com N.V. (LON: JET) has said it would pay its couriers by the hour than per job.
- This would mean that the riders will be either full-time, part-time employees or on zero hours contracts.
- The company has also agreed to pay pension contributions, holiday pay, sick pay, and maternity or paternity pay.
- The British company has said it would hire 1,000 drivers under the new arrangement and they would first start operating from London.
- The stocks of the company on 10 December 2020, traded lower by 0.69% from its previous closing, hovering at around GBX 8,028.00 at 11:56 AM GMT+1.
