Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple Price Predictions Short-Term Recovery Could Face Challenges

Highlights

  • Bitcoin (BTC) hovers around $104,000 but faces risk of a decline if it closes below the 50-day EMA.
  • Ethereum (ETH) encounters resistance near its descending trendline, signaling potential for a downward move.
  • Ripple (XRP) could see further decline if it closes below its ascending trendline support.

Bitcoin (BTC) price has been fluctuating around $104,000 after bouncing off its 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) earlier this week. However, if the price fails to maintain above key support levels, further downward movement may be ahead. Ethereum (ETH) has faced rejection near its descending trendline, hinting that a correction could occur soon. Ripple (XRP) is also approaching a critical support level, and a breakdown below its ascending trendline could trigger additional declines.

Bitcoin has found some support at its 50-day EMA around $98,845, leading to a brief price surge to over $104,700. As of Friday, BTC hovers near $104,100, but the future direction remains uncertain. If Bitcoin fails to hold above the 50-day EMA and drops below the $100,000 level on a daily close, it could test the next major support at $90,000. Given the current market conditions, the short-term outlook for Bitcoin could involve further downside if these key levels are broken.

Ethereum’s price has faced a rejection around its descending trendline, hovering near $3,231 on Friday after rising from the $3,000 support level earlier in the week. A failure to overcome this trendline could lead Ethereum into a correction, possibly retesting its psychological support at $3,000. A daily close below this level could signal further declines toward the $2,810 support area. The market’s reaction to this key resistance level will be crucial in determining Ethereum’s near-term trajectory.

Ripple has also been under pressure as it slides toward its ascending trendline support, drawn from multiple lows since early January. The price bounced off the trendline earlier in the week but has since shown signs of weakening. If Ripple breaks below the trendline and closes beneath the $2.72 mark, it could face further declines with the next support level around $1.96. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) also indicates weakening bullish momentum, as it points downward after being rejected from overbought levels.

In conclusion, while Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Ripple all experienced brief rallies earlier in the week, their recovery could be short-lived if key technical levels are broken. Each of these cryptocurrencies is approaching critical support and resistance zones, which will likely determine whether they can maintain upward momentum or face further corrections in the coming days. Traders will need to watch these levels closely to gauge potential price moves.
