Stocks of Tullow Oil PLC dragged FTSE 250 index lower

  • Despite a surge in British Pounds and increasing optimism over PM Johnson’s victory in the upcoming December 12 general election, the mid-cap gauge of the UK traded in red, as the stock Tullow Oil Plc plunged 100 points or 71% against the previous closing which dragged the mid-cap into red. The FTSE 250 traded 70 points or 0.33% lower to 20,863.14 and registered an intraday high of 20,935.88 and a low of 20,801.99, respectively
