PayPoint Plc underlying group net revenue increases by 4.2%

PayPoint Plc (LON:PAY) has released a trading update for the quarter ended 31 December 2019.

  • The company has reported a rise of 4.2 per cent or £1.3 million in underlying group net revenue to £32.7 million, as compared to £31.4 million in the corresponding previous period.
  • There was an increase of 2.2 per cent in the UK bill payments net revenue, led by strong growth in MultiPay and improvement in net revenue per transaction, which covered the 1.1 per cent decline in transactions.
  • The board of the company has expressed its confidence of progression in profit before tax and exceptional items for the year ending 31 March 2020, though with a more modest rate than earlier expected.
