Housing Price Index in the UK surges by 1.4% on a YoY basis in December 2019

As on January 03, 2020, Nationwide Building Society of the UK reported that Housing Price Index (HPI), improved 1.4% on a YoY basis in December 2019 against a 0.8% improvement in November 2019. The Nationwide’s Housing Price in the UK first time edged above 1% in the year-over period. However, on MoM basis, price marginally improved by 0.1% in December 2019.
