Air New Zealand Limited (NZX:AIRASX:AIZ)

AIR was the most traded on the NZX today. The trading volumes of the stock stood at 1,432,485. The stock, at the time of writing, was trading down by 3.08% at $1.415.

Air NZ stood down 15 members this week from its staff after the airline came to know that they were close contacts of an employee who tested positive for Omicron. The airline has done some schedule modifications for the weeks ahead due to COVID-19.

Spark New Zealand Limited (NZX:SPKASX:SPK)

SPK reported the second highest volumes on Monday at 1,333,546. The stock, at the time of writing, was trading down by 1.88% at $4.435.

Spark entered into a contract with Electra Group last month to purchase back the remaining 50% shares in Connect 8. The deal may be completed in early 2022 and will help Spark in its 5G rollout.

Goodman Property Trust (NZX:GMT) 

Goodman reported strong volumes on Monday at 1,174,041 shares and the stock price, at the time of writing, was down 0.59% at $2.525.

Goodman bought an infill site in Albany in December to build a new processing centre amid a rise in parcel volumes due to growing digital economy. The firm has got a development contract from NZ Post to fulfill the task.

Auckland International Airport Limited (NZX:AIAASX:AIA)

AIA showed high volumes for the day. The trading volumes stood at 1,141,367 and the stock, at the time of writing, was trading down by 2.9% at $7.2.

Total passenger volumes at Auckland Airport plummeted by 89.1% in November compared to the previous year. The recovery of AIA is still contingent on the economy recovering and further vaccinations in the face of new strains.

AIA will publish its interim results on 24 February 2022.

Oceania Healthcare Limited (NZX:OCAASX:OCA)

Oceania was also amongst the most traded stocks of the day, noting trading volumes of 999,079 for the day. The stock, at the time of writing, was trading down by 4.17% at $1.15.

OCA paid an interim dividend of 2.1cps on 20 December 2021.
