Kiwis Optimistic About Financial Markets Recovery, Plan to Improve Investments

As per a study by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA), despite most of (60 per cent) investors experiencing losses due to COVID-19, in New Zealand, the outlook on investment remains positive.

The survey suggests that about 71 per cent of Kiwis are optimistic that the pandemic phase will pass eventually, and markets will recover with time. About 23 per cent are planning to invest more in existing investments or make new investments in the year ahead.

Also, nearly 45 per cent of New Zealanders were found to be concerned about the impact of COVID-19 on their financial situation.
