Refunds will be issued in the form of payment, instead of credits issued by airlines for future flights.
Lowest priced tickets will also be offered a refund if the flight is cancelled.
With this move, the company looks at reinstating the practice to align with the booking conditions and regulatory tariffs which were in place prior to Covid-19.
The refund issuing process will begin from November 2, starting with flights cancelled at the onset of the pandemic.
It will take six to nine months for the refunds process to be complete.
The company clarified it will not raise fares to pay for customer refunds, as per media reports.
