The United States Justice Department is set to sue Google and three other tech titans -- Facebook Inc, Apple Inc, and Amazon Inc – for misusing their power my to hinder competitive threats.
The lawsuit comes on the back of a report by the House antitrust panel that also found that Google has been able to create obstacles to competition by becoming the primary default search engine.
The Justice Department’s complaint comes on the heels of a probe initiated by Attorney General William Barr into the country’s top technology platforms.
