Amazon has announced that this will be an addition to the 33,000 tech and corporate employees it already has.
The tech giant said in a statement that it has plans of opening 100 new operations buildings in September.
Amazon has been recruiting for new jobs as its business has soared amid the pandemic, increasing its strength of employees by nearly 10 per cent in the first half of 2020, said its July financial results.
