Air Canada (TSX:AC) Revenue Drops 86% In Q3 2020 - Kalkine Media

  • With COVID-19 impacting travel and the aviation sector immensely, Air Canada saw its Q3 2020 revenues drop C$4.773 billion from Q3 2019.
  • The company reported negative EBITDA of C$554 million in the third quarter of 2020, a steep decline from that of C$1.472 billion in Q3 2019.
  • The top Canadian carrier also saw an operating loss of C$785 million in Q3 2020, as total revenue passengers carried in the latest quarter dropped 88 per cent.
  • As of September 30, 2020, the company’s unrestricted liquidity stood at C$8.189 billion.
