Merritt Island-based space services company Sidus Space, INC. could soon go public in the US equity markets as it has received approval to list its Class A Common Stock.

Revealing the number of shares and its price range, the company mentioned in its prospectus that it is looking to sell three million shares of Class A Common Stock and the price range of the offering would be between US$ 4 to US$ 6 per share.

Sidus Space was earlier known as Craig Technologies Aerospace Solutions, and it focuses on designing, manufacturing, and launching a commercial satellite. It mentions that it is a space-as-a-service company and is also involved in delivering data and analytics to global and domestic customers.

According to the latest prospectus submitted with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Sidus Space will debut on the Nasdaq Capital Market and trade under the stock symbol SIDU.

Canadian investors cannot buy the Sidus Space stock on Canadian stock exchanges like the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) or Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE).

Once the SIDU stock begins trading, interested investors will have to get in touch with a brokerage company dealing in international stocks. Canadian trading platforms like Wealthsimple, Questrade, and Interactive Brokers provide access to stocks listed in the US equity markets.

Based on the mid-point of the price range of Class A Common Stock, Sidus Space is expected to raise US$ 13.4 million.

The company will use the amount raised through the initial public offering for product development and manufacturing expansion among other things.

For the period ended December 31, 2020, Sidus Space’s revenue was US$ 1.6 million, and its gross profit was US$ 20,772.

In 2021, Sindus Space signed a contract along with MTI Wireless Edge Ltd. to integrate and test an antenna often used in small satellites. for integrating and test an antenna for the small satellite industry. As of September 30, 2021, the company realised revenue of US$ 250,000.
