Pro Medicus secures a decade-long imaging contract with US-based UCHealth
Renewal of FMOLHS deal includes new cloud-based imaging deployment
Company reinforces growth in enterprise-wide digital health platforms
Healthcare technology company Pro Medicus Ltd (ASX:PME), listed on the ASX 200, has reported two major international contract announcements via its US subsidiary, Visage Imaging. The deals strengthen the company’s presence in North America’s cloud-based medical imaging sector and underscore ongoing interest in scalable enterprise imaging solutions.
UCHealth Partners with Visage Imaging for Cloud-Based Imaging Deployment
Pro Medicus has entered into a new 10-year agreement with UCHealth, a prominent health system operating hospitals across several US states. The contract covers implementation of the full Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform, including viewer, workflow, archive, and cardiology modules.
The agreement includes the migration of UCHealth’s current imaging systems to Visage 7 Open Archive and full integration with its electronic health record infrastructure. Deployment planning is expected to begin immediately, with platform activation scheduled for a future quarter.
This marks another milestone in the transition of major health networks to unified, cloud-based imaging systems, a model gaining traction across healthcare IT.
FMOLHS Contract Renewal Broadens Visage’s Cloud Imaging Reach
Visage Imaging has also renewed its agreement with Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System (FMOLHS), based in Louisiana. The updated five-year deal involves higher usage-based pricing and now includes Visage 7 Open Archive, extending the relationship beyond the original viewer-only framework.
The renewed partnership facilitates a shift from FMOLHS’s on-premise imaging to a fully cloud-hosted environment. Both the viewer and archive components will be delivered off-site, supporting the system’s broader digital transformation objectives.
CEO Highlights Market Shift Towards Fully Integrated Platforms
Chief executive Sam Hupert noted the growing demand for complete cloud-native imaging platforms, particularly from large-scale hospital networks. He also referenced the increasing appeal of Visage’s full-stack architecture, which integrates image viewing, workflow, storage, and cardiology tools into a cohesive solution.
Hupert indicated that interest in Visage Imaging’s offerings spans a variety of clinical areas, positioning the company for further growth across diversified healthcare systems in North America and abroad.
Strategic Milestones Strengthen Global Market Reach
The UCHealth and FMOLHS contracts underscore Pro Medicus’ momentum in expanding its global footprint within digital imaging. These developments align with broader trends in healthcare digitalisation, where secure, centralised, and scalable imaging platforms are playing a key role in hospital network modernisation.
