Australian equity markets ended higher for the fourth day on Friday (25 March 2022). The benchmark ASX 200 index rose 0.26% or 19.10 points to close at 7406.2, a ten-week high. Mining stocks led gains in the market today and energy stocks also contributed to the gains despite a overnight fall in the oil price.
Meanwhile, ASX Midcap50 rose by 0.91% and while the ASX All Ordinaries moved up by 0.27% to 7,689.90.

BlueScope Steel Ltd (ASX: BSL) rose by 5.093% to $21.460 and Brickworks Ltd (ASX: BKW) was up by 4.809% to $23.970.
