Cyprium Metals Limited (ASX: CYM) has announced changes in the board, as part of the renewal process in support of a new direction for the company.

Ross Bhappu has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director, while Matt Fifield has been moved from Interim Chair to Chairman.

Rich experience of Ross Bhappu

The company announced Ross Bhappu as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately. He carries 35 years of experience in managing a portfolio of investment. He is a seasoned mining executive, investor and experienced director with expertise in the financial and technical fields.

Presently, he is working with Resource Capital Funds as a senior strategic advisory partner and earlier he worked at the firm as its Head of Private Equity Funds.

Before joining RCF, he was associated with a development stage mining company as its CEO. He also worked as the Director of Business Development at Newmont Mining Corporation and held multiple technical and commercial roles at Cyprus Minerals Company.

Matt Fifield as the company’s Chairman

Since 13 September 2023, Fifield has been serving as the Non-Executive Interim Chair at CYM. He has agreed to continue with the firm as its Non-Executive Chairman.

CYM shares traded at AU$0.026 apiece on 15 November 2023.
