ASX-listed Australian copper company, Cyprium Metals Limited (ASX: CYM) has appointed David Hwang as the new Company Secretary of the firm.
Also, the company has designated Manu Trivedi, the Group Financial Controller of the company, as its interim Chief Financial Officer.
This comes after Wayne Apted stepped down from his position as the CFO and Company Secretary. He was contributing towards the company’s growth since 2019.
More about Mr David Hwang
David Hwang has been in the role of a company secretary and corporate lawyer at many pre-IPO and ASX listed entities. He has been an advisor to Boards and management to several emerging companies in matters relating compliance and governance.
Currently, he is serving Confidant Partners as its Managing Director. As a senior executive at an integrated technology solutions and professional services provider, he led one of the largest outsourced company secretarial and legal teams of Australia.
CYM shares traded at AU$0.029 on 12 October 2023, up 3.5% from the last close, with a market cap of over AU$42.6 million.
