Monadelphous wins contract for Shell’s offshore Crux platform via Technip Energies
Inteforge extends supply deal with Origin Energy for Australia Pacific LNG
New energy projects reinforce Monadelphous’ presence across the ASX 200
Engineering services provider Monadelphous Group Ltd (ASX:MND), listed on the ASX 200, has announced a series of new agreements across the Australian energy sector. The Perth-based company, which services clients in mining, energy, and infrastructure, has deepened its project pipeline through fresh contracts involving global and domestic operators.
Work Awarded on Shell’s Crux Offshore Development
Monadelphous has secured a key project through an agreement with Technip Energies, which will involve the provision of multidisciplinary services supporting the hook-up and commissioning of Shell's (LSE:SHEL) Crux gas platform. Located off the coast of Western Australia, the platform lies northeast of Broome and is set to supply feedstock to the Prelude floating LNG facility.
The Crux platform is part of Shell’s broader strategy to maintain output at Prelude, a major floating LNG development in the region. Monadelphous will contribute services that include mechanical and electrical scopes required for commissioning and integration works, with completion anticipated in the next calendar year.
Inteforge Extends LNG Equipment Supply Agreement with Origin Energy
In Queensland, Monadelphous’ fabrication subsidiary Inteforge has been awarded a two-year extension to its existing arrangement with Origin Energy Ltd (ASX:ORG). The deal involves continued supply of modularised well-site equipment for use at the Australia Pacific LNG project.
Inteforge has been engaged with Origin on this project since 2015, providing packaged components required for upstream operations. The latest extension reinforces Monadelphous’ long-term involvement in key infrastructure supporting the east coast gas sector.
Ongoing Operations Across Energy and Resources Sectors
Monadelphous operates across a diverse portfolio that spans energy, mining, and public infrastructure. Headquartered in Perth with a significant base in Brisbane, the company delivers construction, maintenance, and fabrication services to major project developers throughout Australia.
These recent contract awards bolster Monadelphous’ profile in the energy domain, affirming its position as a critical service provider for upstream oil and gas developments. As part of the ASX 200, Monadelphous remains a key name in Australia's industrial engineering landscape.
