Highlights

  • E-Power Resources (CSE:EPR) begins exploration at the Tetepisca Flake Graphite Project in Québec

  • Geological activities to focus on Graphi-Centre and northern claim areas for flake graphite evaluation

  • Graphite sample collection planned for metallurgical analysis at SGS Canada

The graphite sector gained momentum as E-Power Resources (CSE:EPR) launched its latest field activities at the Tetepisca Flake Graphite Project in Québec, Canada. The initiative marks the beginning of the 2025 exploration phase, aimed at expanding geological knowledge of the region. The project's development also reflects broader attention on battery minerals, aligning with themes influencing the ASX 200 and other global indexes.

The Tetepisca Project spans a large land position within a known graphite district in Québec’s North Shore region. The site has previously yielded encouraging results, which have guided the company's current plans for further geological and sampling efforts.

Phase One Activities Underway at Graphi-Centre

E-Power Resources confirmed that phase one of the campaign will target the Graphi-Centre area, identified as the top exploration priority. Previous fieldwork involving prospecting and sampling uncovered several occurrences of graphite-bearing mineralisation. The team intends to carry out geological mapping and systematic sampling to evaluate the structural and geological distribution of flake graphite across the area.

These efforts are aimed at outlining zones of interest through a methodical and data-driven approach. The fieldwork at Graphi-Centre forms a key part of E-Power's broader exploration strategy across the Tetepisca land package.

Focus on Northern Claims Following Recent Discoveries

Parallel to activities at Graphi-Centre, geological teams will also return to the northern claim groups. This segment of the project recorded notable discoveries in previous field seasons. Geophysical surveying, outcrop sampling, and mapping are planned to further refine the geological model and determine the orientation and extent of graphite-bearing zones.

These investigations are intended to better understand the distribution of flake graphite within the terrain. Sampling results from this zone are expected to provide insights into structural trends across the broader project area.

Flake Graphite Samples to Undergo Metallurgical Testing

E-Power Resources will collect a set of flake graphite mineralisation samples during the ongoing campaign. Three samples will be sourced from the Graphi-Centre target, and one from the northern claims. The company will submit the collected material to SGS Canada, Lakefield, for metallurgical testing.

These tests will assess graphite characteristics, which could help inform future processing strategies. Metallurgical data plays an essential role in evaluating graphite-bearing deposits and understanding the mineral's suitability for use in high-demand applications such as electric vehicle battery anodes.

Continuing Development in Key Graphite District

The Tetepisca project, covering an extensive area, remains a focal point for E-Power Resources' exploration activities. According to the company, the latest program builds on the momentum created by discoveries from prior campaigns. The 2025 work plan is positioned to deepen geological insights across both the southern and northern claims.

Pending metallurgical results from previously collected samples are expected to complement the current field program. These activities contribute to the ongoing development of the Tetepisca Flake Graphite Project, reinforcing its significance in the North American graphite supply landscape.

Global indexes are monitoring shifts in mineral supply chains as interest grows around critical materials like graphite, with broader implications for battery technologies and energy storage sectors.
