American Rare Earths uncovers extended rare earth oxide zones at Bluegrass and County Line
High-grade magnet and heavy rare earths revealed in latest channel sampling
Bluegrass identified as a key long-term area to support the Halleck Creek development
American Rare Earths (ASX:ARR), listed on the ASX 200 Index and operating within the rare earth elements sector, continues to advance its exploration footprint in Wyoming. The company, through its U.S. subsidiary Wyoming Rare, has identified further rare earth oxide concentrations in the Bluegrass and County Line areas of its Halleck Creek Project, reinforcing the strategic importance of this region.
Sampling Activities at Bluegrass Area
Recent sampling efforts at the Bluegrass target have provided insights into the composition and distribution of rare earth oxides in the region. A large number of geological samples were collected using channel sampling methods. The findings revealed notable concentrations of total rare earth oxides. Additionally, the presence of magnet-related oxides made up a significant share of the total content, while heavy rare earth elements were also consistently represented. These outcomes are instrumental in defining the long-term outlook for Bluegrass as part of the broader resource strategy.
County Line Sampling Reflects Distinct Composition Patterns
At the County Line prospect, sampling identified consistent levels of total rare earth oxides. Noteworthy was the elevated ratio of heavy rare earth elements, suggesting that mineralisation hosted in dyke formations may offer distinct compositional traits compared to other parts of the project. Magnet rare earth oxides also showed substantial representation in the samples, providing another layer of data to enhance understanding of the geological framework.
Advancing Geological Understanding for Future Development
The company’s exploration teams will utilise these results to refine geological modeling efforts and support the prioritisation of future drill programs. The new data complements the existing resource base at Halleck Creek and adds context to previously defined volumes at the Cowboy State Mine located within the Red Mountain area.
With Bluegrass emerging as a central zone for continued development and County Line contributing to geological diversity, American Rare Earths is shaping its project pipeline to support increasing industrial demand for rare earths used in sectors such as clean energy, electronics, and defence.
Broader Strategic Vision Anchored in Key U.S. Projects
American Rare Earths continues to focus on progressing its two main assets—Halleck Creek in Wyoming and La Paz in Arizona. These projects are aimed at contributing to supply solutions across North America. The company, which currently maintains a solid position on the ASX and features in the ASX 200 Index, is aligning its development trajectory to match the growing requirements of critical materials used across multiple modern technology domains.
