During the three-month period ended 31 March 2020, BEM received results from testwork undertaken by Dorfner ANZAPLAN, BGRIMM and BTR New Energy Materials. All these studies have further boosted the project’s potential to produce product that is suitable for the Company’s key target markets including lithium ion battery anodes, refractory and expandable.

The Company has implemented a work program, given the COVID-19 pandemic, while facilitating the continued advancement of DFS into the project over the remainder of CY2020.

To better position the company during the COVID-19 pandemic, the directors reduced their fees by 50% and the MD’s remuneration is slashed by 25%.
