This authorisation is similar to the interim authorisation given to Victoria & Queensland prior this month.

State & Territory governments are looking for improving the capacity of their health systems by integrating the operations of public as well as private hospitals during the pandemic.

With this authorisation, the private hospitals and health agencies in both the jurisdiction will enable them to work with each other & appropriate health agencies during the current health crisis by discussing on possible capacity and demand for services, purchasing & distributing medical equipment and supplies, and staff allotment.
