Aviat Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:AVNW), a leader in wireless transport and access solutions, has released its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year ending June 28, 2024. The company showcased significant growth, marking its fourth consecutive fiscal year of revenue and Adjusted EBITDA increases.

Aviat's acquisition of Pasolink has proven beneficial, contributing positively to both Adjusted EBITDA and non-GAAP net income during the quarter. This strategic move not only bolstered Aviat's financial metrics but also expanded its operational capabilities in the wireless transport sector.

In a notable achievement, Aviat secured a statewide win with a new public safety customer, transitioning from a legacy incumbent provider. This win reflects the company’s successful execution of private network projects and its ability to meet the evolving needs of public safety communications.

For the fourth quarter, Aviat reported total revenues of $116.7 million, representing a robust 28.1% increase from $91.1 million in the same quarter the previous year. This growth was fueled by a 66.6% rise in international revenue, which totaled $60.5 million, attributed to the Pasolink acquisition and strong performance in the Asia Pacific and Europe regions. North American revenue also saw a modest increase, reaching $56.2 million, up 2.5% from the prior year.

In terms of profitability, Aviat's GAAP gross margin for the fourth quarter stood at 35.3%, while its non-GAAP gross margin was slightly higher at 35.9%. The operating income was reported at $5.5 million, leading to a net income of $1.5 million, equating to a net income per diluted share of $0.12. On a non-GAAP basis, the company achieved an Adjusted EBITDA of $11.9 million, with a net income of $9.2 million, or $0.72 per diluted share.

For the fiscal year ending June 28, 2024, Aviat reported total revenues of $408.1 million, an 18.5% increase from $344.4 million in the previous fiscal year. North American revenue reached $206.1 million, reflecting a modest increase of 2.7%, while international revenue surged by 40.5% to $202.0 million.

Aviat's overall GAAP gross margin for the full year remained stable at 35.5%, with a slight improvement in the non-GAAP gross margin, which increased to 36.4%. Operating income for the fiscal year was reported at $19.4 million, leading to a net income of $10.8 million, or $0.86 per diluted share.

Aviat Networks’ consistent growth trajectory is indicative of its effective strategy in the wireless solutions market. The integration of Pasolink and the successful acquisition of new customers highlight Aviat’s competitive position and commitment to delivering innovative solutions that meet market demands.

With a solid financial foundation, including cash and cash equivalents of $64.6 million, Aviat is well-positioned to continue its growth. The company’s strong focus on both domestic and international markets indicates a promising outlook for fiscal 2025 and beyond.
