U.S. Capital Wealth Advisors LLC reported a reduction in its stake in Merck & Co. (NYSE:MRK) by 37.8% during the fourth quarter. According to the latest filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the firm now holds 25,734 shares after a sale of 15,640 shares. The remaining holdings were valued at $2,560,000 at the time of the report.

Changes in Institutional Holdings

Other firms have also adjusted their positions in Merck & Co. during recent quarters. Wellington Management Group LLP increased its holdings by 4.6% in the third quarter. The firm now holds 75,809,383 shares, following the acquisition of an additional 3,327,404 shares.

International Assets Investment Management LLC expanded its position by 11,876.3% in the same period. This increase brought its total ownership to 2,971,554 shares, reflecting an additional 2,946,742 shares.

Two Sigma Advisers LP also reported an increase, raising its position by 157.9%. The firm now holds 4,264,100 shares after acquiring 2,610,800 additional shares.

Caisse DE Depot ET Placement DU Quebec made significant adjustments, raising its stake by 68.7% in the third quarter. The firm now holds 5,388,551 shares, an increase of 2,194,463 shares. Geode Capital Management LLC expanded its stake by 3.7% in the same period, bringing its total holdings to 59,155,004 shares after acquiring an additional 2,134,296 shares.
