The firm added 5,270 shares to its portfolio, bringing its total ownership to 23,305 shares. The reported value of this stake was approximately $6.93 million as of the latest filing.

Several hedge funds and institutional investors have also adjusted their positions in American Express. Prospera Private Wealth LLC entered the stock in the third quarter with a newly acquired stake valued at approximately $27,000. Similarly, Kennebec Savings Bank established a new position in American Express in the same quarter, worth about $29,000.

True Wealth Design LLC made a notable move by increasing its stake in American Express by over 330% in the third quarter. The firm now holds 108 shares, valued at approximately $29,000, after acquiring an additional 83 shares. Meanwhile, Itau Unibanco Holding S.A. secured a new stake in the company, valued at around $38,000.

Financial Life Planners also added American Express to its portfolio during the fourth quarter, acquiring a new position estimated at $38,000. Collectively, hedge funds and institutional investors control approximately 84% of the company's stock, reflecting sustained institutional interest in American Express.
